2026 Leon Rosen Awards Highlight Exceptional Dedication and Care

This September, Jewish Home employees were recognized for the exceptional care and service they provide to Jewish Home’s skilled nursing residents during the 2026 Leon Rosen Exceptional Customer Service Awards.

Established by Leon Rosen’s children and their families, the award program was created to honor and inspire employees who go above and beyond to provide outstanding service and compassionate care to the residents and patients we serve.

“We are so grateful for this opportunity to recognize our amazing employees who go above and beyond caring for people each and every day,” said Tom McDade Clay, Executive Director of Jewish Home Foundation. “Our sincere thanks to Richard Rosen and Ellen Rosen Konar for making this recognition program in honor of their father, Leon, possible.”

We were fortunate to have Leon Rosen’s daughter, Ellen Rosen Konar, join us for this year’s ceremony to share remarks and help present the awards. Ellen noted that with so many dedicated employees at Jewish Home, being nominated is an accomplishment in itself. She shared that while families expect their loved ones to receive quality care, what they truly hope for is that they are genuinely cared about. It is often the small acts of kindness, compassion, and connection that make the greatest impact.

This year, we received the highest number of nominations in the history of the award program. Nominations are submitted by residents, family members, and fellow employees who take the time to recognize those who make a difference every day.

In addition to the Leon Rosen Awards, we also present a Superstar Award to employees who are consistently nominated year after year for their dedication and commitment. This year’s Superstar Awards were presented to Eva B., ADIR, and Joan O., CNA.

The 2026 Leon Rosen Exceptional Customer Service Awards were presented to Marlene N., ADIR, and Seema B., CNA.

Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees and award recipients. Your hard work and love for what you do does not go unnoticed. Working in skilled nursing is both demanding and meaningful, and each day you help create an environment where residents feel valued, supported, and truly cared about. Thank you for all that you do for our community.
