Jewish Home CFO Carly Zecher is recognized with 2026 Financial Leaders Award by Rochester Business Journal

Jewish Home is proud to share Carly Zecher, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance, has been recognized with a 2026 Financial Leaders Award by Rochester Business Journal (RBJ). She is honored in the CFO/Vice President of Finance category.

Zecher has worked with Jewish Home for 10 years and was promoted to her current position in 2023. She was recognized previously by the RBJ with a 2022 Financial Leaders Award in a different category when she was the Director of Finance for Jewish Home.

The Financial Leaders Awards honor financial professionals who have made outstanding contributions to their organizations and the Rochester community. Recipients demonstrate outstanding achievements, involvement in their profession, support of the community, and they contribute to the economic growth and stability of the region.

“By strengthening Jewish Home’s financial sustainability, I help ensure we can consistently reinvest in what matters most: excellent clinical care, a strong workforce, and a campus that is safe, welcoming, and beautiful for older adults and their families,” Zecher said. “That financial foundation not only supports the full continuum of care on our campus but helps ensure older adults across the Rochester region have a trusted place to receive the care they need.”

In the community, Zecher volunteers with her children’s school district and her town’s recreation department; collaborates across the region as a member of the Senior Housing Alliance CFO group; and has served as treasurer of Greater Rochester Area Partnership of the Elderly (GRAPE).

“Carly is a vital member of our leadership team, and brings to her role a wealth of expertise, prudent judgment, and strategic vision,” said Michael S. King, CEO and President of Jewish Home. “Her stewardship not only strengthens the fiscal stability of Jewish Home; it contributes to our ability to provide senior housing and an expanded range of older adult services to the Greater Rochester area’s growing aging population.”

Key areas where Zecher has been “a driving force,” according to King, are the advancement of capital projects, implementation of operational improvements, integration of new tools and streamlined systems, and forward-thinking vision.

Zecher will be honored during an awards ceremony on June 4 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
