ROCHESTER, N.Y., OCTOBER 2021— The Jewish Home of Rochester has earned an overall 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) — a distinction achieved by only about 20% of nursing homes nationwide.
The CMS 5-Star Quality Rating System was designed to help consumers, families, and caregivers compare nursing homes with confidence. Facilities are evaluated across three key areas: health inspections, staffing levels, and quality of care measures. The combined scores determine a facility’s overall rating, with five stars representing the highest level of excellence.
