Celebrating The 2026 Brodsky-Grossman Employee Recognition Award Recipients

Recently, we gathered at Wolk Manor Assisted Living, to celebrate the employees who make a difference every day through the 2026 Brodsky-Grossman Employee Recognition Awards.

Established in 2021 by the Brodsky-Grossman family, this award recognizes Wolk Manor employees who demonstrate exemplary performance and an exceptional commitment to the residents they serve.

Sam and Betty Brodsky were former residents of Wolk Manor, and their family was deeply moved by the kindness, compassion, and dedication shown by the staff.. In honor of that experience, the family created the Brodsky-Grossman Employee Recognition Awards to recognize employees who embody those same qualities.

What makes this award especially meaningful is that nominations are submitted by residents and their family members. This year, 20 employees were nominated and recognized for their outstanding service and commitment to our community.

This year’s recipient was Devante T., a member of the Wolk Manor waitstaff, whose dedication and caring nature have made a lasting impact on residents and families.

“Being able to acknowledge employees who go the extra mile is a powerful reminder of how much their work is valued and appreciated here at Wolk Manor,” said Kathy Murray-McGhan, Director of Wolk Manor.

The Brodsky-Grossman Award not only honors outstanding individuals but also helps foster a culture of gratitude, excellence, and compassion throughout the community.

McGhan shared that Devante is a perfect example of what this award represents. His commitment to residents, positive attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond do not go unnoticed. He exemplifies the very best of what we hope to recognize through this award.

Congratulations, Devante, and all of the nominees, and thank you for everything you do for the Wolk Manor community!
