Rochester, NY – Jewish Home is proud to announce that its skilled-nursing home has been ranked in the top 20% of all nursing homes in New York state, according to the newly released report from the Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI).
Jewish Home is one of only 112 facilities out of approximately 600 to achieve this elite status.
The NHQI evaluated skilled-nursing facilities across New York on clinical and staffing measures, compliance with state requirements, and potentially avoidable hospitalizations.
“Jewish Home’s achievement reflects its exceptional performance in these critical areas, underscoring its commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to residents,” says Michele Schirano, Senior Vice President and Administrator, Jewish Home.
Jewish Home’s recognition in the NHQI report follows its recent national ranking of 159th out of approximately 13,900 nursing homes in the United States by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Value Based Purchasing program.
